How will we pray?
We have been given the Lord’s strategy for striking the ground without delay:
We are to take communion daily and pray daily in the Spirit – in Spirit-led tongues or as the Spirit leads you. (Romans 8:26-17) To pray in the Spirit is to pray without agenda, letting God lead you. For example you could say, “Holy Spirit, will you pray through my spirit and use my voice to release and establish the plans and purposes of God for Australia and to put a stop to the plans and purposes of the enemy.”

Why will we pray?
We issue this call because we believe we have a critical SECOND CHANCE to intercede for our nation. We are called to strike the ground without delay.

She carries a deep and wonderful revelation of the heart and nature of God and His whispers in this hour.

“Strike the Ground and Do Not Delay!”

Recently the Lord has been speaking to me from the story of Elisha and King Jehoash in 2 Kings 13:16. In the story, Elisha was sick and would soon die from the illness, but he had one more prophetic assignment or act to be a part of before leaving the earth. This was not just any act, but a very strategic, prophetic act that carries significance for us even today.
In reading through the stories of the Bible, it becomes clear that God uses people who are willing to engage with him in seemingly “foolish” acts to accomplish His purposes and will. In this story we find a king and an old prophet shooting arrows out a window, but their faith, along with their obedience to perform the prophetic acts had the potential to shift things in the spiritual atmosphere over a nation.
Strike the Ground!
In 2 Kings 13:15-19 the story unfolds: “Elisha said, ‘Get a bow and some arrows,’ and he did so. ‘Take the bow in your hands,’ he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. ‘Open the east window,’ he said, and he opened it. ‘Shoot!’ Elisha said, and he shot. ‘The LORD’s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!’ Elisha declared. ‘You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.’ Then he said, ‘Take the arrows,’ and the king took them. Elisha told him, ‘Strike the ground.’ He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, ‘You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.'”
As I have meditated on this story, the Lord highlighted to me that we have entered a season where following the prophetic directives He gives us will be extremely important. It is time to STRIKE THE GROUND with the declarations of Heaven that will bring change and shift atmospheres. (Photo via Flickr)
Notice that Elisha placed his hands on the king’s hands before he released the first arrow. Then, after the king shot the arrow, Elisha released his powerful declaration of victory. I believe Elisha was releasing a prophetic grace and impartation at that time so that the arrow would hit the mark. This is a valuable insight for our prayers and declarations as well. As we hear from Heaven, operating under a prophetic grace, our words will release that same grace as they go forward like arrows to hit the mark.
We also have to notice the second part of the story, where Elisha instructs King Jehoash to strike the ground with the arrows. The king had just heard Elisha make the declaration of victory over Aram as he shot the first arrow into the air. Then, as the prophet instructed him to strike the ground with the arrows, he struck three arrows towards the ground and then stopped. We now know that he should have discerned and sensed what the prophet had asked him to do, and the significance of the act.
It was, in fact, an ancient custom to shoot an arrow or spear into the country or area that an army was planning to attack. It was really a declaration of intent of battle. It was a declaration of intent to take new territory. In light of this, it is even more surprising then that the king failed to follow through on the prophetic act with faith and discernment.
Faith That Obeys and Does Not Delay
I feel God is wanting to speak through this story to encourage us to go the distance in this new era with hearing His voice and following through to the full extent without excuses or delay. It also stood out to me that the king didn’t go back and try to shoot the arrows later after receiving the rebuke from Elisha. He had lost the moment, evidently, and there would be no gaining that back. Though we are now under a covenant of grace, we are not to take advantage of that grace by delaying obedience, but instead we are to quickly obey the promptings of His voice.
As we have transitioned into a new era it is imperative that our thinking and mode of operation shifts with what God is shifting. Many times, in the past few months, I have felt the Holy Spirit reminding me to not believe with a preconceived mindset or see with the lenses of the past season. He is calling us to step into a new realm of faith, and authority; seeing and believing Him for the impossible to be accomplished. We must raise our expectations to believe and partner with Him for more! He is doing a BRAND NEW thing!

Be Silent No More!
I also hear the Lord saying, “I am adding weight to your words. Your words carry the power of life or death, so choose wisely what you speak and release. As you come into agreement with My plans and strategies, there will be power and momentum released as you declare in rhythm with Heaven.
“Be silent no more! Strike the ground! Believe that you are powerful and step into the fulfillment of prophetic promises spoken long ago.Sanctify your tongue unto Me so that only praises flow from your mouth and not curses. Walk in forgiveness, daily, so that your arrows remain sharp and none will fall to the ground. I am advancing in the earth and together we will take new territory for the Kingdom of Light.
“Open wide your mouth and I will fill it (Psalm 81:10)! Yes, I will fill it with My prophetic arrows to tear down injustice, release peace, and establish truth and righteousness in the nations.”

As I sought the Lord today in the light of His answered prayer over the election this is what I believe He was saying to me beyond what I might think or feel.
Hold fast in the storm and tempest you are about to experience. What has happened today is a precursor to a much greater battle.
For too long the visions and dreams of my people have been locked up and appeared to be unachievable. I am breaking the padlocks and opening the hidden places in the hearts of those who have been faithful to trust me with their disappointment, sadness, frustration and sorrow.
My Glory Cloud is settling over this Valley and the Nation. Open your hearts in order to see Me and hear Me in the POWER of MY PRESENCE. First the FIRE and then the WATER. Then you will truly know “I AM” the God of miracles. There will be no room for doubt only a choice to SERVE ME WHOLEHEARTEDLY or alternatively turn back to the god of this world.
This is the VALLEY OF DECISION and no longer will I tolerate those who are half hearted or double minded in their worship of me. Many will fall by the wayside and go their own way and many who have been obstinate oppositional and disobedient will bow down and worship in Spirit and in Truth. I alone will reveal the true state of the human heart. Do not be deceived by eloquent argument and lofty ideas. Guard your heart against false witness and testimony. My work is clearly discernable by my signature “THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST”. Nothing else will be tolerated.
Know me in your going out and coming in. Let me constantly guide your steps. I am always available. Not at a distance. Trust me with every moment of your life. Do not be troubled about your earthly needs my provision is all sufficient. Carry only my PRESENCE as your necessary equipment to do the work of MY KINGDOM here on earth.
Be at peace with your fellow believers and listen carefully to what they are saying. There are many aspects of my plans that are shared with MY BODY. Pray for discernment and above all my Grace in order that nothing from my revelation be lost. Only as you work in UNITY will you be able to truly celebrate the WONDER OF MY GLORY.
Be at peace my children. Walk in the preparedness of the SPIRIT for I am about to EXPLODE IN SOVEREIGN POWER and there will be a shaking and cleansing.
I AM UNLOCKING THE VISIONS AND THE DREAMS.
Put down your anchor deep into the ROCK OF YOUR SALVATION.

3. THE GOD OF THE SECOND CHANCE by Anita Alexander
As Australia stood and watched the election results pour in on the night of the 18/5/19, we stood and beheld what was truly a historical moment. Some have called it the greatest “come from behind political victory in our nation’s young history”. A believer, Scott Morison, by the miraculous hand of God swung into unprecedented victory.
I found myself all night in reverence, knowing the magnitude of the glorious spiritual repercussions on our nation by this victory, saying to the Lord, “Thank you God for your mercy upon our nation, thank you God you would be so gracious to us, Thank you God, that you have acted favourably on our behalf, thank you God that you would be so kind as to put such a leader at our nations helm.
As I continued to watch the television broadcast, I was determined to keep my eyes open in the late hours of the night to see and be a part of the glorious history in our nation and watch the victory speech of our re-elected Christian Prime Minister who was completely written off by the media and opposition of ever re-entering government.
THE BEGINNING OF A NEW DAY
Scott Morrison finally arrives on the podium and begins His victory speech at the stroke of MIDNIGHT. Yes folks, 12 signifying DIVINE GOVERNMENT, and Midnight representing the ending of a day and the beginning of a new. Only God. The news commentator bringing this fact of the speech starting at the stroke of midnight to all the viewer’s attention! The Lord said to me this is the time for MY GOVERNMENT. I was literally witnessing the hand of God moving in our great nation.
THE GOD OF THE SECOND CHANCE
Upon awaking this morning, still bubbling over with exuberant gratefulness to God that He would be so kind to our nation, the Spirit of God begins to speak to my heart.
He reminded me that this weekend the 18/19 and the 19/5/19 marks the second Passover – Pesach Sheni. Recently I was speaking with a dear Prophetic Intercessor friend of mine Vivienne Docherty, she was sharing with me that God had been talking to her about the “second Passover” this year and how she felt that this year it held significance. Separately the Lord had me study the month of iyar (which we are now in) and I stumble across the “second Passover”. Ok so now it has my attention, two times in a matter of two weeks the Lord has brought “This second Passover” to my attention. I still didn’t know how this related to anything He was showing me, but my spirit was leaping. The day before the election the Lord said to me “Second Passover”!! I still didn’t clue on it was in regard to the election, I just knew He was reminding me it was this weekend. Little did I realise our nation was about to cross over and have a red sea experience of our own!
For those of you who aren’t aware, “Second Passover” is observed for the Jews who couldn’t observe the first Passover for reasons of being unclean, or other which we find in Numbers 9:9-12.
Before we go on, I need to point out something. The date of second Passover this year is 18/5 which is double nine. The verse where it says “and the Lord spoke to Moses saying…” is Numbers 9:9. This was the day of our election!!!
The number 9 is the number of finality, justice and judgement. Jesus died on the 9th hour and said “It is finished”. If you have read or followed my posts I have spoken a lot on the number 9 of recent, as the Lord has given me dream after dream about this being the season of 9. The turnaround for justice and recompense. The judgement of God on the enemy so redemption can come.
So in light of this summary of the number 9, we also see more 9’s appearing in this miraculous story of this “greatest come from behind victory in political history for our nation”.
Not only was the election victory on the “Second Passover” – signifying God giving our nation a SECOND CHANCE, making a “way for us of escape to enter into our promises”, (as Passover signifies), but it was a mighty deliverance from the enemy’s plans.
We see in Esther 8:9, (yes verse 9), a decree of turnaround and salvation was written for the Jews giving them “9” months until the time set for destruction on the first decree- thus allowing them ample time to prepare to defend themselves.
As I was speaking to my husband this morning, he made me aware it has been “9” months Scott Morrison has been in government preparing him for this election. This is the Lords Justice upon our nation, symbolising a mighty deliverance and turnaround.
LIFT UP YOUR HEADS OH YOU GATES
As I have noted in my new book, “The Avenger, The Rise Of The Kingdom”, the Lord is shifting governmental gates in the earth, to make way for the King of Glory to come in. “Heads of Gates” in the Hebrew means the leaders, chief points. So the Lord is putting righteous Heads in place that will “Lift up” in order for the King of Glory to Come In. “Lift up”, in the Hebrew means to “bear responsibility”. So these righteous governmental gates the Lord is placing in this hour, in our nation and in the Church, will bear responsibility by acting in righteous government and make way for the King of Glory. They will “open up the way”.
As there is a shift of Government politically over our nation, there is a Shift of Government in the Church.
We are now in a time where we are going to see the hand of God move at the threshing floor in 2 Samuel 6:6 and there will be a threshing, and a death to the old order, as God raises up a new righteous Government in the Church who will make way for the King of Glory.
The Lord is positioning our nation for a mighty move of His Spirit, and as the righteous Government take their seats in this hour, they will lift up the name of Jesus Christ and then we shall surely see “ALL MEN DRAWN UNTO HIM”.
GET READY AUSTRALIA, YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE. MOVE NOW IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, LIFT UP YOUR VOICE FOR HIS CAUSE AND WATCH HIM MOVE ON OUR BEHALF.
