There is an army arising – young and old!
- Do you recognise the glorious plan of God unfolding in our time?
- Are you walking in the calling, gifting and anointing that your Father has given you to fulfill your part in His plan?
- Are you fully receiving the blessing that your Father has for you?

We all fall short. We all see in part.
I have never been so aware of sin in my life, and the need to stay focused and true. God’s sanctification process is releasing layers of freedom in us all, as we stay sensitive and vigilant to the tender convictions of the Holy Spirit.
We look to Jesus. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2
Jesus said, “I will send him [the Helper] to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; 11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.” John 16:7-11
“But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13
A remnant will humbly submit to the Holy Spirit’s gentle work to convict and separate us from our sin so we can be healthy and mature and one with God, so we will fulfill His purpose His Way.
Challenging Times
We, in Australia, Israel and other nations, are facing acute challenges and opportunities created by fire, flood, pestilence and the threat of wars. Jesus prophesied times like this in Matthew 24:3-14 saying, “9…you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Life and Death Choices
We, as individuals, and collectively as families and nations, are in a valley of decision. Whether we recognise this or not, we all make daily choices between blessings and curses that have life or death consequences. Only utter reliance on God will produce life. Reliance on our ‘knowledge of good and evil’ will bring death to our families and nation. This is a critical time and mixture is intolerable. God’s kingdom cannot mix with sin -idolatry, ego, deception and manipulation, rebellion and divisive hatred which present in many forms:
- global godlessness, hopelessness and indignation
- Western consumerism, immorality and entertainment
- Indigenous idolatry, immorality and control
- religious self-righteousness and rigidity, counterfeit, loveless judgement, offense and division.
- egotistical pursuit to fulfil God-given calling and giftings through manic compromise and human strategy
Are you receiving all the blessing God has for you?
In the battle we are in, we need to be able to recognise what is of God and what is not; what to let go of and what to hold on to – so we position ourselves to receive God’s blessing – the specific forms and avenues of His protection and provision in the present season.
God’s blessing falls on all – but we all miss out to some extent if we do not have eyes to see and ears to hear. We all have resistance that deflects God’s blessings – hearts hardened by defensiveness, unhealthy expectations, rigid views. When we fix our eyes on the radiant face of God we are in the only place where we receive our identity, purpose, authority discernment and power to fulfill His will.
The Holy Spirit will scrutinise and lead us in accountability, and mutual discernment and reliance through supportive, trust worthy God-given relationships. Those who are aligned with God will receive His double portion blessings through relationship and inheritance. Let us pray and purpose that we will collectively see the promises and plans of God lift curses off our lives, our families, land and receive God’s blessings – His kingdom on earth as in heaven!
