Who is our enemy in this battle?
The concerns in this paper are not about China itself or Chinese Australian residents or guests, “for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
This is an alert to recognise the schemes of the enemy of God who seeks to kill, steal and destroy. God has shown us, as prophetic watchmen, that a principality manifesting as a dragon (Revelation 12:3-9, 20:2) is operating from China against the nations of the world. This scheme of the enemy seeks financial control over nations and the savage destruction of the vulnerable poor through drug and sex slave trafficking.

In October 2019, 54 watchmen from across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific gathered on Kangaroo Island and shared what they were seeing in their regions. A common report emerged – about the evident move of the Chinese government in occupying key ports and warehouses across our regions, and in creating financial dependency upon China.

Historic And Current Impacts of the dragon on Victoria, Australia
In October 2019, just a week after our Kangaroo Island gathering, 240 international Transform World delegates on 5 coaches, did a prayer tour of Melbourne. Within a week we received letters concerning West Richmond and West Dandenong and media reports exposed the outworking of the enemy’s schemes against poor and powerless people on the streets of Melbourne. [Google: Melbourne Injecting Rooms arrests.] Aggressive new strategies in drug distribution and forced prostitution and decline in shopping strips, house values etc were painfully evident when we came onsite to meet with locals.
Standing with our Chinese brothers & sisters in Christ
It is important to acknowledge the powerful good flowing from China – with deeply constructive impact on our global and local economies and on the Kingdom of Jesus globally. The Australian Church is greatly strengthened by our Chinese brothers and sisters and other immigrant groups.

Persecution of the Underground Church in China has built passionate faith, purity of spirit and a revelation of what it is to stand as one as the family of God. Our Lord God Almighty fights our battles for us!
God calls us to discern the part He has given us for His strategy – in each battle.
“Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!” Nehemiah 4:20
God has given us responsibility to take care of the land He has entrusted to us. We are not to abandon the earth to the reign of the enemy. We are called to make amends when evil, injustice and particularly the shedding of innocent blood has been committed upon the land. (Numbers 35:33, Deuteronomy 19:10, 32:43, Psalm 106:38, Jeremiah 7:1-7, Jeremiah 22) When we repent and receive the blood of Jesus, all is cleansed. (Hebrews 9:13-15) Let us unite to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!”

What is our region’s part in God’s strategy?
God has revealed what Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific nations are do in His strategy against this dragon principality and its schemes to bring financial ruin and devastation.
Surprisingly our part is to collectively establish
24/7 prayer & worship as God leads us!
A Vision Given to the Watchmen
In October 2019 at Kangaroo Island, God revealed that His strategy for our South Pacific region is that we come together in night and day prayer & worship with those in Bendigo. We are to establish this by joining in faith to purchase Langley Hall in Bendigo. This will be a site for people from across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific to gather with the local body of Christ in continuous day and night prayer & worship. In the meantime, I believe we are to press into continuous fervent worship, fixing our eyes on Jesus, declaring Jesus as our King of Kings and Lord and Lords above every principality and power and god by any other name! We are to welcome Jesus’ Sovereign reign in our spheres of influence and collectively across the nations of our region.
Worship is a common weapon of warfare in Biblical history. Praise & Worship position us humbly before our Almighty God – breaking our independence, setting us free for our fear, wrong dependency and sin, cleansing us and our land from sin. Then God can fill us and the atmosphere, land and culture with His Kingdom – life abundant and eternal! As we worship we enter eternal oneness with heaven around the throne of the Lamb who is worthy of all our worship, adoration, praise and thanksgiving!
This strategy can be understood by answering four spiritual questions:
To overcome the four sins that pollute the land and its culture – idolatry, spilled blood, wrongful covenant and sexual sin- we are called to answer the questions:
- Who will be worshipped in our region?
- Whose blood will cover the land and people in our region?
- Who will we covenant with in our region?
- Who will cleanse us from the sexual sin of our people?

CONVERGENCE HOUSE OF PRAYER A Nation and a Community of Nations coming together to Pray and Worship God to witness His Power and His Glory in Revival, Salvations and Transformation of lives, communities, cities and nations. Property for Sale Kadesh Cabins at 269 Old Gympie Road, MOUNT MELLUM 100 acres in the Sunshine Coast hinterland two kilometres from Landsborough township.
The owners dedicated this land as a House of Prayer for the South Pacific. Roy Funu recognised the suitability of this property but he was still surprised when he heard of this dedication. Roy has raised Houses of Prayer in Queensland, Solomon Islands and other South Pacific nations and for over 30 years has brought Pacific Islanders to Australia to pray for our nation.
3. Prayer & Worship in Bendigo, Victoria
What is God doing in Bendigo?
In Bendigo faithful mature prophetic intercessors have raised worship to our Lord & King and watched over God’s revelation here for decades. United prayer & worship gatherings like ‘Pray Bendigo’ have established a powerful legacy. By the power of the blood of Jesus, Bendigo has victoriously overcome past efforts by this principality to bring down God’s Church. There is powerful evidence of forgiveness, faithful devotion to prayer, worship and fasting and character in the people of God here!
We honour and uphold the many local pillars who have allowed God to prepare and position them as His local apostles and prophets. God can now establish them as His foundations for what He will now build upon them. Together as one, multiple congregations are now reaping evident revival. We have seen God’s glory over them – powerful glory filled praise and worship, discipling and sending harvest workers. Many are sharing the gospel across central Victoria and seeing significant ‘men of peace’ saved, frequent healings, miracles, significant growth in salvations, rapid discipling, and maturation of new converts.
Watching the dragons being paraded through Bendigo in 2019, a local pastor prayed, “We need reinforcements. Send in the intercessors.” Many are coming to Bendigo from Melbourne and Adelaide and other places.
Well before we understood all this, God began taking me to Bendigo 10 months ago. I, and the PIPES team, can testify that God is manifesting miraculous evidence of His presence in Bendigo at this time. We heard and saw glorious angelic activity over the area during local combined worship and at the Langley Hall property. This was recently confirmed by Australian prophet Adam Thompson. Dan Duval recently affirmed the apostolic foundations that God has established in the region.

Why Bendigo?
This may have surprised you – but it is not as random as it may first seem. Bendigo, Victoria is a place of great historic and spiritual significance in Australia and world history.
People from all over the world flooded to the gold rush between 1851 and the late 1860’s. The Bendigo gold mines yielded more gold from 1851-1900 than anywhere else in the world. Melbourne and Victoria were built on gold from the Bendigo and Ballarat mines.
Tragically, however, in the process of British colonisation and the gold rush, the land of Bendigo was desecrated by idolatry, shedding of innocent blood, sexual sin and broken covenants (rebellion). (Hosea 5, Romans 1:21-31) “You must not desecrate the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.” Deuteronomy 21:23
All across Australia, First Peoples were removed from their land by Australia’s colonisation. Tragically, Indigenous Djadjawurrung peoples from this area, experienced displacement (removing boundary stones), violence, rape and massacre by settlers in Western Victoria, from the late 1830-1840’s.
The Red Ribbon Rebellion of the Bendigo miners in 1853 was one of the earliest in the string of events that led ultimately to the 1854 Eureka Stockade uprising in Ballarat.
Fleeing violence, famine and poverty in their homeland Chinese gold seekers sought fortune for their families in the place they called ‘New Gold Mountain’. At the peak migration point of the late 1850’s the Chinese made up one in five of the male population in the gold mining towns of Victoria. In the 1850’s and 1860’s Chinese migration numbers peaked around 40,000.
Australia’s unjust mistreatment of Chinese immigrants in the gold rush era led to anti-Chinese discrimination, violence and legislation. This is likely this is part of the explanation for how the accuser gained legal entry to hold ground here. Prophetic intercessors see Bendigo as a spiritual stronghold for a dragon principality that has its head in Tibet and its tail in Bendigo.
Who will be worshipped in our spheres of influence – and in Bendigo at the heart of this region?
It is critical we acknowledge the truth, humbly confess our sin and the sin on the land, and walk in fellowship with God and one another, so the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and the light of God from Bendigo is victorious against the darkness that is impacting our world!
“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:5-10
