Victory on Higher Ground
This is an open invitation to those who God calls on this national assignment on Thursday 12.12. 24 at the Flagpole in the Flagstaff Gardens in Melbourne’s CBD, 309-311 William St, West Melbourne Victoria. We will gather in preparation from 11:00am and commence at 12:00pm. BYO rugs, sunshield, water, loaves & fish. Toilets & takeaway food are available at the ticket office level of Flagstaff Station.
Our time together on 12.12.24 will look like a joy filled family picnic – as depicted in the dream from which this assignment arose. See: Victory on Higher Ground

This is a sacred opportunity to gather as the ecclesia of Christ in Melbourne – as one with First Nation Kingdom ambassadors and others from interstate – to hold our ground – like Shammah. He “held his ground in the middle of the lentil field and beat back the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.” (2 Samuel 23:11-12) “Shammah” means “God is there” in Hebrew and “higher ground” in Arabic!
Flagstaff Gardens is a gateway site. It was the high place in Melbourne’s early colony, from where they signalled ship entries and proclaimed the time and major governance news. Here, on 11th November 1850 they decreed the separation of the Victorian Government from New South Wales. God is now connecting this site with Observatory Hill in Sydney’s CBD (formerly known as “Flagstaff Hill”) and with other “Flagstaff” and “Signal Hills” and light-house gateways across Australia and other nations. We’ve been called to Flagstaff Gardens on Pentecost Sunday, 9 June 2019, Friday 7 June 2024, Monday 11 November 2024, now 12 December 2024.
Our History tells His Story
Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.”
Our Lord has heard His people’s prayers rising from this land long before the first permanent settlement of colonists in Portland Bay on 19 November, 1834 and Port Phillip in 1835. See: https://guides.slv.vic.gov.au/Victoriasearlyhistory/timeline
Again and again God has moved in revival among our people in this land.
From September 22-25, 2023 First Nation leaders gathered at Uluru in repentance as descendants of those who made covenant agreement with other spirits on this land of Australia. They were convicted that they needed to repent of all sin and break any ties that remained from idolatry – specifically the ancestral worship of fallen angels – ancestral spirits, demons, powers and principalities. See:
https://partnersinprayer.org.au/first-nation-leaders-repent-of-ancestral-sin-and-covenant-the-land-of-australia-to-god/ They did this in preparation for their trip to Israel in October 2023. See: https://partnersinprayer.org.au/from-repentance-to-covenant-and/
On 11 October 2023, under raw war conditions, First Nation leaders from Australia and 33 other nations signed a covenant declaration with the God of Israel and the Messianic remnant of Jews living in Israel, believing, “When God’s sons from Israel and from all nations are joined together in holy, covenantal love and are brought to glory (Hebrews 2:10) as mature sons, what Paul foresaw will become a great reality: the deliverance of all creation from its bondage to corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. (Eph 2:11-16; Rom 8:20-22)” Many other tribes and nations have signed since 2023. God invites us to stand as one in agreement with the covenant made for all through the blood of Yeshua; to stand as one with Israel and as one in our lentil fields, to welcome in the reign of Yeshua as Messiah and His restoration of His Kingdom righteousness and justice in our people and land.
Since being in Jerusalem, these First Nation leaders have come to Melbourne several times – to stand with our Jewish and First Nation people; to see the governance of God in our Parliament; and to see God miraculously cleanse sin and rebellion from our streets. Some will be with us again on 12.12.24. We see God’s cleaning and restorative waters of life washing away what is not of Him. God is establishing His foundations for what is to come.
