TIMELY ALERT:

PART 1: WHAT AUTHORITY DO YOU STAND IN?
Will you die to self and live in the authority of Christ?

PART 2: RHEMA TRAYNER’S YouTube teaching from a recent tour across New Zealand and Australia brings vital revelation on how God is equipping His ecclesia for our part in the time that’s upon us.

PART 1: WHAT AUTHORITY DO YOU STAND IN?
We live at an extraordinary time when God is preparing His true ecclesia – those purely devoted to represent Him. Increasingly over recent months we sense we are to lay ourselves and everything in surrender on the altar of God’s holy consuming fire.

Jesus is looking for an ecclesia who will lay everything down to follow Him and re-present Him. Our Lord, the Son of God, is worthy of all of our praise, all our focus, all our availability. Only when we are one with Him in the holy fire, can we reflect His likeness as light in our world.

I believe I heard Jesus is asking us, in deep seriousness,

“WHAT AUTHORITY DO YOU STAND IN?”

We cannot safely stand before God or principalities and powers on the basis of our human authority – our gender, birthright, ethnic identity, inheritance, reputation, denominational beliefs or obedience. We cannot claim spiritual authority based on our seniority, qualifications, appointments, titles, gifts, experience of signs, wonders, encounters & miracles, acts of charity or contribution to Israel or the body of Christ.

It is only in the authority and power of Yeshua Hamasiach, the son of God and man, that we can stand and accomplish anything that will stand. There is nothing we can add or need to add to the authority Christ has won and given to us. And our gender, ethnicity and social status do not preclude us from standing in the authority of Christ. Reliance on our needs, rights and strengths opens us to wrong motive and vulnerability to pride, shame, fear and the accusation and attack of the enemy.

There is a lot of entitlement right now in our world and in our thinking as “the church.” Entitlement is the fruit of self-righteousness. It stinks of pride, greed, covetousness and control.

Who dares to steal the glory and pre-eminence of Christ?
Who dares misrepresent our good ideas as His will and command, His strategies?
Who dares to claim sovereignty over land in this Kingdom era?

WILL YOU DIE AND LIVE IN THE AUTHORITY OF CHRIST?

Do you die daily? (1 Corinthians 15:31) Will you let him wash you daily with the baptism of His love so you love well and live unoffendable – free of anger toward people, bitterness/negativity, pride, unforgiveness and judgement. Jesus taught on the cost of offence in John 6:53-64 and saw the divisiveness this caused among His followers. (Thanks Nofoao.)

We give up our personal identities as men and women, Jews and Gentiles, and our social standing to be reformed as one new man. (Ephesians 2:11-16)
Galatians 3:26-29 “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.  For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.  And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Ephesians 2:19-22 “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

We repent of ignorantly creating gods of our own design. God has All Authority and He alone is worthy of worship.
Acts 17:24-31 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Proclaim with me, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me!” (Galatians 2:20)

At the Altar Lyrics: “I’m removing all of the things that would move me further from You A thank you could not be enough It’s not lost on me what You saved me from I am running, stumbling I know but I’m coming To give You this offering My worship I’ll never withhold Broken but You call it beautiful Where the tears of the desperate Reach the feet of the Savior Nothing I wouldn’t offer There’s no waste at the altar Where the heart of surrender Meets the hands of the Maker Nothing I wouldn’t offer There’s no waste at the altar Things I’ve treasured couldn’t come close to Your presence Grace upon grace who could measure No, nothing could measure I’m returning back to the One I am running to give Him my love He took a sinner like me He washed me with grace and then set me free Come lay your broken dreams at the altar And every victory at the altar Fear and anxiety cannot live here There’s no waste at the altar Let your heart sing out and tell Him you love Him Don’t make it perfect, just let it be honest He can use anything, sit back and watch Him There’s no waste at the altar.”

Jesus Christ has given us His authority and power to do His will.

We have His authority from the moment we are reborn as God’s son and daughter. Each new believer, who surrenders and is baptised into Jesus as their Saviour, is reborn into their new identity in Christ and receives His complete victory, authority and power over sin. We do not earn this. We do not receive His authority later as a subsequent reward, gift or anointing. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” (Ephesians 2:4-6) Jesus highlighted this by quoting the word of the Lord to David, “Sit near me in the place of authority until I subdue all your enemies under your feet!” (Luke 20:41-43) (Thanks Rosalyn)

Jesus has appointed us all as His ecclesia to exercise His authority and release His kingdom governance on earth. But we can only do this when we are one with Him, when we trust Him and lean on Him and His leading, in full agreement with His will. To know his will we each need to set time aside, as Jesus did, to pause in all matters, to hear what our Lord saying and discern this in the light of the written Word of God and the witness of the Holy Spirit and others. We cannot rely on our human identity, strengths, logic or habitual religious patterns and personal preferences. All this must be surrendered on the altar of sacrifice, so we stand only on the authority of Christ.

We have entered an hour when the maturation of the saints is vital to fulfilling the work of Christ in our world. It is for this purpose, “Christ Himself gave some to be apostles, prophets, shepherds, teachers and evangelists.” We urgently need to be equipped “for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12-13) “…Speaking the truth in love, may [we] grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)

Re-formation happens as we behold our Beloved. 2 Corinthians 3:18 “…we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” This process looks like falling in love because Love is its source, purpose and means. Jesus is our first love – the One we love above all else. We fall in worship and fall in love with the Beloved – deeper and higher into Himself until in His time, love has fruit. It happens without striving, by His doing. There comes a time when we overflow with love for each other because we can see each other with the tender grace our Father has for each one.

John 15:9-17 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.  If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.  My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.  You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.  This is my command: Love each other.”

Jesus has given us His glory so we may become one with Him. When we move (only) when He moves, speak as He speaks, love as He loves, we begin to re-present our Father in our world as Christ did.
John 17:20-23 “… I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—  I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”

ARE YOU SEEING THE POWER AND VICTORY OF CHRIST?

Our Lord and King seeks an ecclesia who will agree now with His will and stand in His authority AND POWER. When we do agree as one with Him, we will see His Sovereign authority as Righteous Judge wielded against spiritual principalities and powers, and the kings of the earth.

This was confirmed today (Thanks Katina).
Psalm 76:1-12 TPT “God is well known in the land of Judah. He is famous throughout Israel, [2] making his home in Jerusalem, living here on Mount Zion. [3] That’s where he smashes every weapon of war that comes against him. That’s where he uses the broken arrows as kindling for his mighty bonfire.
Pause in his presence
[4] God, you are so resplendent and radiant! Your majesty shines from your everlasting mountain. Nothing could be compared to you in glory! [5] Even the mightiest of men have been paralyzed by your presence. They were so stunned and lifeless, not even the strongest one could lift a hand. [6] When Jacob’s God roared his rebuke, soldiers and their steeds all fell to the ground, stunned and lying still. [7] No wonder you are greatly feared! You are the awe-inspiring God! For who could ever stand before your face when your fierce anger burns and live to tell about it. [8] As the earth itself holds its breath in awe before you, judgment is decreed from heaven. [9] You arise to punish evil and defend the gentle upon the earth. Pause in his presence
[10] You have power to transform man’s futile anger into praise. The fury of your enemies only causes your fame to increase. [11] So you’d better keep every promise you’ve ever made to the Awesome One, YAHWEH! Let all people bring their extravagant gifts to him alone. [12] He is famous for breaking the spirit of the powers that be. And the kings of the earth will know him as the Fearsome One!”

Psalms 76:12 AMP “He will cut off the spirit of princes (principalities); He is awesome and feared by the kings of the earth.” (As Daniel 10:13)

ARE YOU SEEING THE GLORY, POWER AND VICTORY OF CHRIST REVEALED IN US AND OUR WORLD?

Stand as one with God, our leaders and community in response to the trumpet call.
Numbers 10:2,3,9 “Make two trumpets of hammered silver, and use them for calling the community together… When both are sounded, the whole community is to assemble.. When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued…

Under the new covenant the resurrection power of God in Christ is revealed in the sons of God who arise in His power and glory!

Romans 8:18-28 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Read Ephesians 1:15-22

God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:19-21)

God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:4-7)

To rise to your heavenly appointed place, you need to see and agree you are free.  You have already been given the love of the Father, the authority of Jesus and the power of the Spirit to drop your burdens, break your bondages, release your offences and defences, and reject the distractions, lies and accusations of the enemy. You can’t afford to let sin define and limit you.

My body has been burning from the 20th August – since surrendering at the altar of the Lord.
Let us pray:
“Consume me with your holy fire, Lord – Yeshua Hamasiach – that all that is not of You in me will be purified by Your righteousness, so Your completed work on the cross and your Presence living in me can be more purely re-presented through me

  • in my oneness with You as my First Love and Lord – in whom I have my being
  • in how I love my brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ and the world
  • so I move as One with You – only when You speak and lead
  • so we can move together as One Body with You as the Head
  • so the love of the Father, the authority of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit is manifest through us in our world and in the spiritual realm.”
The Wesley Covenant Prayer was adapted by John Wesley, the co-founder of Methodism (along with
his brother, Charles) for the renewal of the believer’s covenant with God. Wesley says that the prayer
was first used in a covenant renewal service held on Monday, August 11, 1755, in London, with 1800
people present. Since then, the Wesleyan Covenant Prayer has often been used in Methodist services
around the world on the first Sunday of the year.
The prayer points to deep surrender of ourselves in complete trust to God. At first use, the words of the
prayer can be jarring. Pray these words until you mean them.

PART 2: A RECENT TOUR FROM RHEMA TRAYNER

Rhema Trayner is saying our nations (Australia & New Zealand, along with USA, Brazil & Costa Rica ) are 5 keys to a global shift that will bring down the dominance of the global principality. We, as Jesus’ ecclesia must first let Jesus dethrone her in us so we can stand in His authority and specific leading to assert the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Heaven over her reign here.

I earnestly plead that you would prayerfully consider this timely alert brought to our region in June – August 2024 by Rhema Trayner and team on their extended tour of New Zealand and across Australia.

Will we arise and be equipped in the maturity of Christ – so we can stand as one in the complete authority Jesus has won and given to us as His Body? (Ephesians 4:1-30)

Prepare to fully DIE to self – so the principalities and powers have no hook in us, no hold on us.

These are three of many valuable teachings to be pondered. See Recent Pacific Events listed below.
