What is Truth to you?

Jesus was silent when Pontius Pilate asked him, “What is truth?”
A colleague said this question in Latin is an anagram for
“The Truth is the man standing in front of us.”

This was said on 22nd February, after a small group of us had been waiting on God.

At the exact same time, I had had an encounter with Jesus in which He asked me, “What is Truth to you?”
I answered, “You are Lord.” He said, “Am I true to you?” I said, “Yes, Lord.”
He then asked, “Are you true to Me?” I answered, “I hope so, Lord.”
Jesus showed me I had a divided heart and tenderly gave me a new heart, prompting me to take care of it – by rebuilding trust.

I felt water dripping on my face. It ran into my mouth and tasted salty and I heard the words, “I see you.” “No-one loves Me like you do.” I knew these were Jesus’ tears and words.

But I only understood the context when another colleague shared the vision she had been reminded of as we waited on God. In the vision. She had seen Jesus standing as the Lord of Hosts in the front row of an angelic army poised for battle. She found herself standing right in front of Jesus with her head resting on His chest. His heartbeat was at rest and peaceful. She said, “That’s how he goes to war! He has it in hand! His purity will silence everything!”

I knew this was where I had been when Jesus’ compassionate tears fell on my face.

Our colleague said, “When we lay down everything – all knowledge from the Tree of Good and Evil – only Truth remains and it is lifegiving.”

Jesus sees you. You too can lay your head on Him and absorb His peace, rest and joy. No-one loves you like He does. No-one else can love Him in the unique way you do.

His restoration is available to each soul who is weary, or has a broken heart or body.

Pour into me the brightness of your daybreak! Pour into me your rays of revelation-truth! Let them comfort and gently lead me onto the shining path, showing the way into your burning presence, into your many sanctuaries of holiness. Then I will come closer to your very altar until I come before you, the God of my ecstatic joy! I will praise you with the harp that plays in my heart, to you, my God, my magnificent God!”

Psalm 36:9 “To know you is to experience a flowing fountain, drinking in your life, springing up to satisfy. In your light we receive the light of revelation.

Ephesians 5:8-10 “Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. Then you will learn to choose what is beautiful to our Lord.”

John 12:46 “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world so that all who trust in Me will no longer wander in darkness.”

”Father, send forth your light and your truth.
Let them guide us, let them lead us to your Holy Mountain, to your dwelling place. Let them lead us to the altar of God, the source of all our joy.
For in your light, we will not stumble. And in your light, we see light. You have called us to be children of the light, for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true.
So we pray, cover us with your light and lead us in your truth.
For Jesus’ Name’s sake.”

Seeking the Truth about Covid-19 Vaccination

We waited in the confusion of our world and prayer communities, hoping others would issue clear statements to ease the specific confusion and fear concerning Covid-19 vaccination, which is now becoming available in Australia.

Then my husband and I recognised God’s prompting to publish some simple medical and ethical truth about Covid-19 vaccination.

Trust-building is a word for our season. It applies here.

People see this subject differently and we sincerely did not want to cause offense or division. We humbly acknowledge that we see in part. We pray God’s grace and love will lead us all in His light and hold us in His truth across any differences in our beliefs or conviction.
