I want to release a word for 2013. I just felt like the year 2013 is going to be the year of the table. I prophesy this over, not just this house, but I prophesy this over the city. 2013 is going to be the year of the table. The reason I say that is that when Jesus was positioned at the table, there were 13 present. There were 12 disciples and Him, they numbered 13.
As we go into 2013, God is going to establish a place at the table. And it’s going to be a time of being at the table, it’s going to be a time of being present at the table. It’s not going to be a time for TV meals. It’s going to be a time of coming to the table. And I felt like the convenience of what God is doing in 2013 is going to become the inconvenience of people. Because we’re living in a season right now when it’s not about the time, it’s about the convenience.
I felt like the Lord was saying, ‘It’s a time that’s about My time, which is Kairos, that is being released’. It is not a time for TV dinners. It isn’t a time of being entertained at the table, but it’s going to be a table of entertaining. There’s going to be a table of entertaining His presence; not being entertained by his presence.
There are so many that expect God to show up so that they can show off. But it’s time that the church shows up so He can show off. And so I believe we are entering a season right now of the table of the Lord. At that table there is going to be such a reality of the disciples of the Lord, even in 2013. There are going to be those that doubt. There are going to be those that deny. There are going to be those that betray. But I felt like the Lord says, ‘Look at the ones who have a heart. Those that are closest to Jesus’.
And I felt like it was going to be a year of John. I felt like it was going to be a year of the beloved. A year of where the beloved and where the heart of the Father is going to be revealed. 2013 is going to be a year of the heart. 2012 was the year of the head, which was government, but 2013 is going to be a year of the heart.
And I felt like it was going to be a year where we are going to see, not just the position but the posture. I felt like the Lord says, ‘There’s a season right now which is going to be as a season of Gideon.’ In the scriptures Gideon picked his army by a posture. He picked his army by a posture. And there’s another place in scripture where you see that same posture. And that posture was going to the knee. And the next place you see in scripture when someone dropped to their knee was Jesus Christ Himself, when He washed the disciples’ feet. And I felt like the army of the Lord is being risen up not by a position but by a posture.
And I want to prophesy this in 2013. People will be known, not for their positions, but for their posture. Because the posture is about the heart. And even as we go into next year, I felt like there was going to be a positioning, but in posture.
We will know people by their posture not by their position. There will be the position stripped away and the posture established. It’s going to be in the washing.
It’s all about hospitality. Next year is going to be a year of hospitality; being hospitable to Him, but being hospitable to each other. Because it’s the year of the table. The Lord says, the same way, take note how entertainment and hospitality takes place within a Jewish household. What did Jesus do before they went to the table? Jesus washed their feet. And I felt like that posturing for feasting is upon us.
It’s a time and a season for us even to prepare tables in our house. But we can’t go to the table if we’re not postured in the right way. Access to the table comes through the posture.
If we are willing to drop to the knee. I felt like it was a proposing once again. Jesus dropped to the knee because that night He proposed to His body. The reason Jesus dropped to His knee was because He was inviting His disciples into romance. He was inviting His disciples into the greatest feast that would ever take place on this earth, and that’s the table of the Lord.
And I want to prophesy that it’s time that we come into a season where we are willing to drop to the knee to invite this world into the greatest romance that they will ever experience. That they will know the engagement of God. Salvation is the engagement of God. Because we are coming to a marriage feast. You see, the bridegroom hasn’t come yet. Therefore every salvation is an engagement to a marriage. And when you get that into your heart, when you have the ability to respond with His heart for this world. It’s not about saving them for works. It’s about bringing them into an engagement that is going to join them into the body of Christ. Then will see the greatest move, the greatest love that has ever been established on the face of this earth.
I felt like a baptism of love is going to be released next year. I don’t know what it is about 13. For some it’s unlucky. But I tell you it’s going to be the luckiest year you’ve ever lived. Because it’s going to be a year of romance. It’s going to be a year of the beloved. It’s going to be a year of the table. It’s going to be a year of engagement. It’s going to be a year where we begin to see the movement of the body once again. And I believe as we enter 2013 it’s a place of knowing His position and our posture that is going to bring us into the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
2013 is going to be a heralding of the words of Smith Wigglesworth. There’s going to be a heralding of the prophets that have spoken because I tell you people have said, ‘We know what it is but we can’t describe it’. And I’ve said this so many times, it’s like a season of Noah. We’ve been living in a season of Noah. God has asked us to build something we’ve never seen in preparation for something we’ve never experienced.
I believe that next year is going to be a year of rooted and fruited. Fruit will feed for a day, roots will feed for a lifetime. I don’t just want to feed me, I want to feed others. But I want to keep on feeding. And I believe as we go into next year it’s going to be a season of rootedness. We are going to have the roots that bear the fruit.
So many of us have the fruit but we don’t have the roots. And I believe the Lord is bringing us into this season of releasing the rootedness of God. We will know what it is to have roots. But I want to tell you something. We are going to be walking trees. I just get a picture of Lord of the Rings, and the trees. And I believe the Lord wants us to be that of roots and that of fruits.
And it’s not rooted so that we’re immoveable. It’s rooted so we are missional. So that wherever we go we have the roots and we have the fruits to reach a nation.
Guys I believe that next year is going to be marked by some pretty interesting movements within this city. I felt like the Lord said we are going to see literally. It’s like seasons are going to move themselves. I believe we are going to see autumn in spring and spring in autumn. We need to hear my words. Its going to be like a shift. People will be saying, woah, this is like springtime. It’s going to be a shift of season. But we’re going to have winter, we are going to have summer. But what is between it; spring and autumn is going to shift itself. It’s going to be the word of the Lord and a marker to us. God is causing us to be not just an entrance to seasons and also an exit from seasons.
I felt like next year is going to be a year of family. It’s going to be a year of reconnection. There’s something about reconnecting in the nations. I felt like some of you have people in nations who you’re not even connected with anymore, and I felt like it’s going to be a reconnection that’s going to happen. Get ready for the way we are going to be able to connect. In 2013 there’s a particular piece of technology that’s going to be released that’s going to be like this aid to family. It’s going to be a bit like Skype but it’s going to be on a whole other level. Get ready to see in 2013 technology go through the roof. There’s going to be a technological breakthrough happen next year.
I want to prophesy this as well. There’s going to be a medical breakthrough in certain areas. I felt like the sequencing for AIDS is going to come to a head. And I felt like there are medical breakthroughs which are going to take place. And I felt like there’s some people in this room that are going to benefit from those breakthroughs. So I want to prophesy over you right now, open doors, open doors. So that you are able to receive those breakthroughs that are going to happen.
And I believe there’s something about Melbourne. There’s something coming from Melbourne that is to do with gene sequencing. The church is going to attack it but it’s going to be something that the Lord is going to use in this next season in the medical field. Get ready because the church is going to attack it but the Lord will prevail in bringing it forth for a new generation and a new season. That they will know and they will see the goodness of God because of what He’s provided, Amen.
I want to release this over us: Proverbs 24:3. This is going to be a significant verse next year. In scripture it says, through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established. And by knowledge the rooms are furnished. In some translations it says furnished and NKJ it says filled. With all pleasant and pleasant riches. Let me read it again. Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established. By knowledge the rooms are furnished with rich and precious things.
2011 was a place of building. 2012 was a place of establishing government. 2013 is going to be a year of furnishing. Get ready to see the furnishings of God, get ready to see the fillings of God upon your life. I felt like it was a furnishing time for us to be released in this season with all precious and pleasant riches.
It says in Proverbs, ‘The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow to it’. The pleasance of God, the pleasant things of God are being released in this season. I want to prophesy over us, pleasant paths. I want to prophesy over us pleasant ways. Peace will be in our forefront and peace will be our rear guard. Peace is going to be a virtue that is going to be released in 2013. It was going to be a year of peace. It’s the virtue that God wants to release to His body in this next season, as this year of peace. That we will be a people of peace. I felt like the Lord says He hasn’t made you to be peacekeepers, He’s called you to be peacemakers. Don’t try and keep the peace; make the peace. And I want to connect another word for that. Make peace with your brother. Don’t keep peace with your brother but make peace with your brother.
