Vision received in Cairns by Jill Curry on Pentecost Sunday, May 14, 2006
I saw a treasure chest being opened in the centre of Australia. Inside were gems and precious stones. They were cut and polished. They were taken out and given to the various areas of Australia and the islands.
The islands received a pearl each. North QLD was given an emerald, Brisbane an amber stone, Sydney a Sapphire, Melbourne an Amethyst, Hobart a Light blue stone such as an Aquamarine or blue Topaz, Adelaide a pink rose Quartz, Perth a translucent greyish black stone, Nth WA an opal, and Darwin a ruby. Canberra received a black diamond. In the centre around Uluru was a signet ring, which said ‘holy to the Lord’. (This was confirmed later in the day, when there was much talk about holiness being the calling of Australia). I do not yet understand the significance of each stone to each area.
A crown was placed over the map of Australia which reached from coast to coast. The crown was gold and had the indentations for the gems but the gems had been given to the nation. The different areas had to voluntarily offer back their riches (spiritual and physical) to the Lord and place them in the crown. The pearls fitted around the rim of the crown and the 10 gems in the pointed parts of the crown. As the crown became complete, it was lifted up (through worship to God) and the throne appeared behind it. The crown was to be placed on the head of the King. As it rose, it lifted a bridal veil which was attached to it and rose up with it like the train of His glory. It was the preparation for the wedding of the bridegroom and His bride. I remembered hearing that in a wedding at the time of Christ, the bridegroom sent gifts to His bride-to-be so that she could prepare herself for the wedding.
There are 2 key Scriptures associated with this.
Haggai 2:20-23
And the word of the Lord came to Haggai on the 24th day of the month saying, “Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah saying ‘I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. And I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots and their riders, and the horses and their riders will go down, every one by the sword of another.’ ‘On that day,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘I will make you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, my servant,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you’” declares the LORD of hosts.
Zechariah 6:10-15
“Take an offering from the exiles, from Helai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon. And take silver and gold, make an ornate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Then say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out form where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD. Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will bear the honour and sit and rule on His throne. Thus He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices.”’
“Now the crown will become a reminder in the temple of the LORD to Helem, Tobiah, Jediah and Hen, the son of Zephaniah. And those who are afar off will come and build the temple of the LORD.” Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And it will take place, if you completely obey the LORD your God.
Both passages have to do with the rebuilding of the temple. The first is referring to the appointment of the Lord’s appointed governor and the second with the appointment of the Lord’s appointed high priest. In dedicating our nation to the Lord, we are indeed preparing the way for the return of the King/Priest in His glory.
