Pray father-hearted spiritual leaders will emerge in your local city to help identify issues needing prayer, evangelistic or missional initiatives that can be supported by prayer and evidence of answers to prayer. OUR LOCAL CITY DAY OF PRAYER
Pray many take up spiritual responsibility to pray for your local city on one day each month! Note your local city’s day of prayer in your calendar and make it a regular prayer date with friends! Pray to discern what God is saying about your local city. Pray your eyes and heart will be open to see the needs and blessings of your local city. Pray local churches will host local prayer gatherings and prayer walks. Encourage them but don’t wait on others – initiate this! The day on which others across Melbourne are praying for your local city is an optimal time to share Jesus with your family & friends, neighbours & colleagues.

Pray that grass root collaborations form among neighbours, workmates, school groups, university groups and local churches to host prayer meetings and prayer-walking in our streets, neighbourhoods, towns and regions across Melbourne and Victoria. ASSEMBLE A LOCAL 24/7 PRAYER CHAIN
Pray churches unite in continuous day and night prayer for a spiritual awakening! Local churches can work together to set up a prayer chain of continuous day and night prayer on their local day of prayer each month. You can simply start a 24 hour day of prayer chain with 12 locals who will pray 2 hours each or 24 church members praying 1 hour each.
Once your local churches have experienced the benefits of a day of prayer – they may be willing to host a continuing prayer chain for for more than 1 day a month! Some local cities first hold some 3 day prayer chain during key calls to prayer.
But we suggest aiming for continuous prayer & worship arising from your region or local city. It is as simple as 31 local churches each hosting 24/7 prayer for 1 day a month! On their Day2Pray, a local church can host their 24/7 prayer at one location or in private homes or a combination.
