It was glorious to be before the Lord and sense assurance of his will and capacity to overturn each global scheme of the enemy. If he could use the young people of the first world war to turn back the ‘Great’ War – he can properly equip the young people of this generation to arise against all that faces us. Jesus loves us and is with us to divide between what is life giving and what is deceptive and life draining – and to offer us the completeness of life in His kingdom on earth.

The anniversary of the signing of the armistice to commemorate the end of hostilities for the Great War (known as Remembrance Day) is traditionally celebrated across Australia at the 11th minute of 11th hour on the 11th day of November with a minute’s silence. During this moment we remember all who fought and died in the various wars so we can be free.
This year people of Christian faith in Canberra have decided to publicly honour Jesus, who died to save our souls.
We will come together between 6-7.30pm on the grass in front of Parliament House and spend time kneeling to repent of our individual and corporate sins.
We believe it is necessary to especially repent for the shedding of innocent blood, breakdown of marriage and the various forms of idolatry and broken covenant which are practiced in our nation.
We are sending out a call to prayers in every state and territory to join us at the same time, so the Canberra prayers and petitions are amplified across the nation as thousands join in. In this unity we are obeying God’s injunction to remit the sins and pray for the safety and protection of our nation.
When we humble ourselves, we are confident the Holy God will hear our prayers and restore Australia to His destiny as “The Great South Land of the Holy Spirit”.
We will also pray for wisdom and protection of all who are in authority over us, including our politicians, servicemen & women and police, so that we may all live in peace in this sovereign nation.
We long to see this nation come into revival – please join with us in the time zone of your local town, city or state, so there are thousands repenting and praying in unity.
