Awakening National Watchmen across Australia & South Pacific

My whole body has been burning with a consuming fire since 13 March 2016 when we passed a torch of revival fire from leaders representing Aboriginal Australia to South Pacific nations and then to Israel.

It was a gathering called  “Awakening the Nations” – attended by representative leaders from the Solomon Islands, New Guinea, New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga and the Cook Islands as well as many Melanesian Islanders, particularly Solomon Islanders, who came to pray for Australia as a platform for the gospel being carried to the nations of the world and back to Israel. A fire torch was lit by Indigenous Australians and passed from one national representative to another until it was held by a woman representing Israel. We will see this awakening fire spread also across New Zealand and Polynesian nations – the whole Great Southland of the Holy Spirit! A revival has been ignited that will never go out!

Our hosts at Alexandra Healdlands on the Sunshine Coast included Roy Funu, Steve Forman and Elijah Jordan.  Interestingly, the South Pacific intercessors were met here by key prayer leaders from USA – Sue Rowe, UK – Sally Rickard and  Australia –  including Lynnette Wanganeen (Aboriginal House of Prayer), Jamie Pryor (Transform World), Jenny Hagger (Australian House of Prayer and Transform World Celebration Challenge) , Matthew Blyth (Australian Prayer Network) and leaders from PIPES – Partners in Prayer & Evangelism: Rudi Bam, Karen Wilson, Rod Schneider and Sue Tinworth.

World War II was turned in the Pacific by the islanders’ Coast Watch that warned the united forces of Australia, New Zealand and America of enemy action at critical points in the battle and who hid and cared for our troops. Australia would likely have been invaded without this vital collaboration.

Since our gathering earlier this month, we have heard that Coast Watch is being established again across these Pacific Nations. Watchmen are rising to pray and discern during the predawn 4th Watch. When Sue Rowe asked us if we were waking between 3-6am most of us recognised that God is stirring us as his watchmen to pray during these vital hours.

The vision I have carried of the lights of the city is the 4th watch (3-6am) nightwatchmen awake and alert in prayer. I am really keen to talk about how we mobilise others to provide a continuous watch in our cities during these crucial hours. Three hours are so achievable! You may like to register as part of Global Watch:  “Building Community in a Global Prayer Environment.”

I hear that others are also still experiencing this consuming fire in their bodies.  The burning is a divine unction, an ‘Acute Alert’ call. It is overflowing molten love. If you catch it – pass it on…

Rudi Bam received two words as we lit the torch:

TIME and SEASON :  We need to know the time and the season. “Father please lead us and show us, how to alert the Nations”

CONSUMING FIRE : His love  His Glory, Fire :  Please show us teach us your heart, and the next steps.

On this same day 13 March 2016 Elijah List released Andy Sanders’ word: God is releasing his fire starters in America and the nations.

1 Timothy 2: 6-14 “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11 And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. 12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. 13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.”

Isaiah 6:3-8And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;  the whole earth is full of his glory.” At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

1 Corinthians 13:3 (ESV) ” if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.”

1 Corinthians 3:10-17 (ESV) 10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11 For no one can lay afoundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. 16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
