Melbourne, you are a gatekeeper city for God’s purposes. As a city, you have a forerunner anointing. Many come to celebrate your beauty, experience your creativity, and experience your huge multi-cultural community. You have been famous for this one thing, but the Spirit says: “In the future, they will come to see a manifestation of my Glory.”
I hear the Father say, “There is a shift in Victoria and Melbourne right now. Spring is a time of change and new beginnings. There is a turning around; this city’s redemptive purpose will be revealed again.”
I hear the Lord saying: “Intercessors, you need to get back on the walls and pray because the main attack against the churches of Melbourne has been to abort the apostolic and the prophetic in the State of Victoria.” [*see invitations below]
I sense the Lord releasing a Nehemiah anointing to return to the gates and the city walls for a complete and total restoration of His purposes and plans. There is no time to delay. We must keep building a Citywide prayer movement. I can sense the heart of God for this city as He shouts:
“Go again in prayer- because now is the time to restore this city.”
In this season, the Lord is revealing strategic plans in the prayer room. It’s time for the church to regain her place in the city. She is not just a part of the city; she is the head, not the tail. Her identity is not doing works but being connected to God as sons and daughters. This is a significant role, and we must embrace it.
“Fathers and mothers are rising up and are being set in position. New works are being birthed. Networks are being established for the upcoming move.”
Because the trauma has been very strong in the city, He is raising up many healing prophets who will counter the power of this trauma with the power of God. The trauma will be displaced, one heart at a time, and His heart will be revealed in the church once more.
He says: “Now is the time for restoration of the apostolic and the prophetic based in His heart, and His plans will be restored. Do not say it is too hard or the work is too big. Know that the Lord is with you and releases favour to the humble.”
He honours the deep work of the saints in the city amidst the many sorrows and difficulties that this city has gone through, but now, a fresh new move from God is coming based on the cleansing that God has brought.
THE ENEMY HAD A PLAN, BUT GOD’S PLANS ARE MORE INCREDIBLE!
“To those who have been faithful. Stand firm and know that you are going to reap.”
The Father says to those who have grieved the losses in battles, breakdowns, and difficulties:
“Yet again, I will restore you. Yet again, I raise you up, and you will shine in love and humility and care for this city’s poor and the rich. Houses of prayer, hope, and healing are rising across this city and in the Victorian country areas. Many are coming back to the house of the Lord.
I will do all I say, says the Lord. Get ready. Spring is the time for change. Prophesy repentance, renewal and deep restoration for My people- to complete the cleansing I began.
To the prophets, I say – be restored and come forth as you are needed, for the most incredible time is ahead. Preach and prophesy restoration and renewal.
My joy is coming to this city, and the state of Victoria is arising as many promises come to pass! From the sowing -there will now be the reaping.”
